If you’re looking for a way to increase the intensity of your workout program, there are a couple of pretty simple techniques that will do the trick. Depending on your workout, you’ll want to apply these accordingly:

  • Rest less in between sets. This makes each subsequent set more difficult because your muscles are more fatigued.
  • Get plenty or rest, but have heavier weights or workload.

Rest for less time between sets OR Make the workload itself greater and you’ll have a much more intense workout.
