If you’re not an athlete, your workouts don’t have to be uncomfortable.
You’re not making your living or supporting your family playing a sport.
All you need to do is stay in your heart rate target range. It should feel comfortable and therapeutic.
If you cannot complete a sentence while you’re training, you might be training too hard.
Consistency is the key to getting results from your workout.
If you’re a motocross racer or any other kind of athlete and your races or competitions are uncomfortable, then your workouts should be uncomfortable to get your body used to it. If you’re just trying to get in shape, your workouts don’t have to be that intense.
You’re better off, unless you’re an athlete, to finish a full weight workout with less weight, than to give up a third of the way through with heavy weights.
If you workout consistently, you’ll find that you automatically start eating better.
Give yourself a challenge and try it out. You don’t have to workout to the point that you’re uncomfortable if you’re just trying to get in better shape, you just need to make a conscious decision to workout consistently. Test it out and get back to me.
